Barclays leverages this prime Times Square location to bring their brand history to life, featuring live financial market updates, timely news headlines, and engaging brand stories, all created and controlled by the Barclays editorial team. Press site — 2018: Under Armour needed a clean, fresh home for product news, investor information, and original brand content. With a bold new look and a CMS catering to UA's various editorial teams, we delivered a powerful storytelling platform for the Under Armour brand. Prior to outsourcing all eCommerce my responsibilities included:

  • eCommerce: Extended and maintained Magento, Simplemerce, and custom ASP.NET platforms.
  • Direct Sales: Created magazine/membership subscription platform (PHP/CodeIgniter).
  • Entitlements: Created entitlement management system with automated rebilling.
  • PCI: Proposed and lead effort to refactor magazine/membership subscription platform to run on subdomains to reduce PCI exposure. Migrated to cloud servers in a PCI hardened environment. This allowed Taunton to greatly reduce the number of servers that required PCI scanning.
  • Cloud Hosting: Lead cloud migration effort. Migrated codebase from SVN to Git. Formalized Git based development workflow and deployment strategy.
  • DevOps: Introduced Vagrant for local development.
